Be Bop

A gluten-free restaurant and pizzeria suited to all tastes

I like pizza. A lot. Some people don’t like it while some people can’t digest it at all or can’t eat it and suffer a great deal even when they hear the word mentioned. Be Bop is the solution for everyone.

Not only is the pizza, which has that super thin crispy crust, very good. It is incredibly easy to digest even if you’ve decided to top it with taleggio cheese, sausage and radicchio and have also ordered a small beer during a midsummer’s lunch hour (having a great girlfriend as a lunch date might have just been the perfect accompaniment?).

It is also perfect for those who are gluten intolerant  it has AIC certification – and one can choose whole wheat or kamut flour and there is a dairy-free version as well. Obviously, vegan mozzarella is available.

I’ve tried many pizzas at Be Bop: “interesting” ones, “light” (without mozzarella) ones, “special” white ones without tomato and with a vegetable cream, perfect for those who like more cheese. I really liked the one with kamut flour and without yeast – it was fragrant and ultra-light.

Be Bop is also a restaurant with refined dishes that are incredibly well presented (the menu is truly long, complete and suited to every need). Vegan and gluten free (recognized by the Associazione Italiana Celiachia) dishes stand out along with those that are certified as being dairy-free and free from ingredients of animal origin. The desserts are also absolutely worth trying.

Be Bop serves the type of pizza that is good to have with friends and family (everyone can find something he or she likes, among the regular dishes as well) and it even makes for a romantic evening. The restaurant has a reserved room that is very bucolic. It is small, but having plants as part of the environment makes for a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere. Actually, I may just call and see if I can make a reservation for tonight!

We can't. That's why every week we share the best experiences milan has to offer.

Fresh, genuine and healthy gelato from the Premiata Gelateria Augusto, the ultimate spring obsession which just a short time ago officially opened in Coni Zugna 54, at the corner with via Savona. Bright environments and furnishing recall ancient Rome, as the aura of greatness around its name suggests. The variety is attractive, but it is the tastes (all of them gluten free) that [...]
