This evening sees the return of the Manzoni Theatre’s cultural Monday evenings, a series of events entitled “Manzoni Culture” that belong to a pretty tasty format, dreamt up by Edoardo Sylos Labini to foster culture, and back today for a third installment. This year the stage will welcome back its creator for his interviews accompanied by Paul Vallery’s DJ set, as well as newcomer Giovanni Terzi, the brand new director of ilgiornaleOFF.it, not to mention a prominent figure on Milan’s cultural landscape as well as a returning guest on Rai programmes, writer, ex-Councillor and much more besides.
The first of these encounters, kicking off this evening at the Manzoni Theatre at 19:00, will shine a spotlight on the celebrated chef, Carlo Cracco, much loved Master Chef judge and famous TV personality, but above all a highly skilled chef who boasts an impressive CV, with such mentors as Gualtiero Marchesi, Ducasse and Carton. His decision to strike out on his own saw him rise quickly to become Executive Chef at Peck, one of the world’s top 50 restaurants, before going on to open Ristorante Cracco and, most recently,Carlo e Camilla in Segheria, one of the most enchanting bistro locations in Milan.
Tickets costs just 10€ and are available upon booking. The evening includes an aperitif with a tasting offered by Elior.
