Saturday, 24th September, will be all about the physique du rôle, quite slender, at least for the models that we have seen walking the runways these days (but wasn’t the curvy woman supposed to make a comeback?), starting with Fisico‘s show – that’s where the play on words comes from – late in the morning. The best part will definitely be the Saturday afternoon stroll along the “5 Vie” of the Quadrilatero, with high-end shopping windows, new boutiques’ openings, and open-air exhibitions. Saturday will be the day of super exclusive events right in the heart of Brera, like the open-air vernissage “Elle loves fashion”, hosted for its second edition by the prestigious Art Deco gallery “Robertaebasta” in via Fiori Chiari, 3. Saturday night will be, without a doubt, party fever night, you’ll want to have fun and go wild on the dance floor: to dance in Milan we recommend the dear old Nepentha and the disco at Hotel Principe di Savoia, or the Richmond Cafè, if you are looking for a more chilled rhythm and you value the glamorous atmosphere… because we can’t always be working, don’t you think?
But first, business…
Let’s go over the official CNMI calendar: the elegance of Bottega Veneta will start the day, let’s say around 10.00AM (keeping in mind the usual half hour delay) in via Brera 26, followed by Vivetta, Antonio Marras, Blumarine, Simonetta Ravizza, Ermanno Scerivino, Jil Sander, Cividini, Gabriele Colangelo, Aquilano.Rimondi, Philosophy by Lorenzo Serafini, Leitmotiv, and Au Jour le jour, whose showtimes and addresses are all visible on Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana’s App.
From midday till noon, the launches you should not miss, according to Flawless Milano, are those devoted to the accessories: Church’s and Borsalino, both in Sant’Andrea, Valextra (in Via Manzoni, 3), Bally (in Viale Alemagna, 6), Baldinini (Via Bigli, 4), Le Silla (Montenapoleone, 23); but also Agnona in via Montebello and Chiara Ferragni’s hilarious new collection in via Cernaia, 1 (from 5.00PM). You will hardly have time to go back home or to your hotel to freshen up before dinner, because you will clearly run from a launch to the other with no time to catch your breath. But remember that there’s a wonderful beauty salon called Cotril, whose business associate is non other than Belen Rodriguez, a few steps away from piazza San Marco, exactly between Brera and the Quadrilatero.
Now, where are you having dinner? If, at the and of your tour, you look up to find yourselves by the old buildings of Corso Garibaldi, then Temakinho is the place for you, conversely, if you end up closer to via Pontaccho or via Fiori Chiari, we recommend Fiori Oscuri or Tiramisù Delishoes… but if you got to via Solferino, then you’ll have to choose between a wide range of Asian restaurants, and it won’t be easy since they are all incredible: the Indian Rangoli, the famous Zazà Ramen or the Y.Not, the trendy Japanese.
Location of the day: Galleria Robertaebasta, 5 Vie, Cotril Salon
Restaurants of the day (today’s special is Asian food): Temakinho Brera, Y-Not Solferino, Zazà Ramen, Rangoli
