April, Tuesday 12th: the events you cannot miss

From April 12th to 17th, Milan will be transformed into one big event dedicated to the best design and creativity

Following our selection of events for April, Tuesday 12th.

Milan Design Week – Opening Party:Milan Design Week - opening partyThe Opening Party organised by the Milano Design Market will take place at via Giulio Romano 8 from 6 p.m. to midnight. Here, guests can admire exhibits dedicated to design and fashion and try delicious street food while a DJ set plays in the background. Open access with credentials. The exhibit will be open to the public from April 12th to 17th from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.


Gaetano Pesce presents l’Altra Bellezza:Gaetano Pesce: Altra bellezza a cura di Vittorio SgarbiThe opening of the Gaetano Pesce Altra Bellezza exhibit at Palazzo Morando at via Sant’Andrea 6 will take place at 6 p.m. Curated by Vittorio Sgarbi, the exhibit compares the elegance and the order of the pieces in the museum with Bellezza Altra [Other Beauty] as explored and theorized by Pesce. Preview by invite only. The exhibit will be open to the public from April 13th to July 17th 2016.


Offmat by Boutique BANNER:

At via Sant’Andrea 8/a, the Boutique BANNER will present Offmat, a project that is somewhere between technology and craftsmanship: the store window will host the Comet k1204 installation by Tommaso Corà and Paolo Festa, and inside visitors will be able to admire sculpture and cuisine by Tùler. The inauguration of the exhibit is April 12th from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with a show cooking event combining fashion, design, and innovation.


A Matter of Perception:
A Matter of PerceptionIn the beautiful setting Palazzo Litta, in Corso Magenta 24, the collective exhibit A Matter of Perception will be shown. The exhibit includes works by thirteen designers from the three regions of Belgium and is a reflection on tradition and technology. The opening party will be invite-only, and the exhibit will be open to the public from April 12th to 17th. Palazzo Litta will also host LINVISIBILE BELLEZZA project, curated by Matteo Ragni, and the Touch me is ok installation by artist Mattia Biagi.
