The ‘Finalmente Domenica’ brunch at Excelsior Hotel Gallia
The gourmet brunch at Excelsior Hotel Gallia turns Sunday into the week's highlight, with a special menu for Easter

Only the Excelsior Hotel Gallia, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Milan, a prominent five-star luxury address in Milanese haute hôtellerie, could elevate the Sunday lunch into such a refined brunch: a convivial feast celebrating the flavours and finest traditions of Italian cuisine.

“Finalmente Domenica“—literally ‘Sunday at last’—captures in two simple words why this weekend fixture has become unmissable. The upcoming dates coincide with the arrival of spring and Easter celebrations on 22 March and 5 April, the latter featuring a dedicated Easter brunch.

On 22 March, “Brunch in bloom” marks the first Sunday of spring by inviting diners to rediscover the conviviality of Sunday lunch, with made-to-order dishes, freshly baked pastries and live cooking stations. Highlights include Ostriche mignon di Goro, borage and asparagus, the Insalatina di asparagi viola with lamb’s lettuce, pine nuts and Parmigiano Reggiano shavings, and Carciofi alla romana. There is also an engaging live cooking station preparing dishes like Carnaroli Riserva San Massimo mantecato with three-milk robiola and spring vegetables.

On 5 April, Excelsior Hotel Gallia celebrates Easter with a feast highlighting regional Italian classics. For this special occasion, Executive Chef Vincenzo Lebano has designed a menu filled with authentic flavours, fresh dishes, traditional festive pastries and special starters. The grand starter buffet features lavish Easter classics such as Neapolitan Casatiello and Torta pasqualina, alongside lighter options like toast with poached egg and black truffle, and pea hummus with vanilla. The live cooking station focuses on organic Uova Biologiche “Principe di Fino”, while main courses feature grilled Costolette d’agnello marinated with mint and lemon.

To finish, Pastiera, the quintessential Neapolitan Easter bake, is served alongside Colomba, lemon Anacaprese and, naturally, chocolate Easter eggs. Adding a celebratory touch to every Sunday at Excelsior Hotel Gallia is the “Ring for Bubbles” bell, allowing guests to order a glass of fizz with a single chime.

To ensure a relaxed experience for the whole family, a dedicated children’s play area is always available.
