The story of this atelier with a French boho-chic atmosphere is, in reality, Milanese from top to bottom. The founder, Enrica Stabile, opened with her sister in the Lombard capital a first atelier, L’Utile and il Dilettevole, in the late ’80s in the court of an elegant building in Via della Spiga. The idea of ​​the project was born from the desire to create a space in which to live the decor as an immersive experience, out of every scheme, where observing and browsing become the key words. Solamente Giovedì brings the signature of this vision and of this family mission, enriched by a strong experience in interior decoration, restoration and consultancy for stands and events.

The atelier, near Via Moscova, opens with a large spiral staircase around which the exhibition space is built. You leave the city in favor of a rural inspiration where wrought iron, wood, flowers, colors and pastel colors alternate with stripes, polka dots and ceramics. Mirrors of all shapes decorate the walls, alternating with retro lamps and hand decorated plates.

The fabrics are the pride of the shop: Solamente Giovedì selects handmade materials, recovering the vintage effect to readjust it to a contemporary taste. This is how cushions and large cascading curtains come to life, becoming the object of desire for anyone who enters this small apartment full of great surprises.

A peculiarity of the atelier is certainly the opening hours: to maintain its aura of exclusivity the visits only take place during Thursdays (or Wednesdays), as the name says, or by appointment. A small wonderland where Alice, no doubt, would lose herself, a special address for lovers of home decor and for anyone looking for inspiration for a home with an impeccable look.
