If you are in downtown Milan and are enjoying one of those Milanese evenings dense of social life, during one of the countless parties that liven up the week in the city, you might come across an apparition: a black food truck, inside which you can see cooks always at work, which bears the name of Zibo – Cuochi Itineranti.
Don’t be shy and approach it, without any fear of trying out their most original proposals. Have you ever heard of carbonara ravioli? Small masterpieces filled with a cheese and pepper fondue with crispy pork cheek that amazed us with their look and taste. The flavors of traditional Italian cuisine blend together gently with round, balanced flavors rich with culinary mastery.
During the Fashion Week, but also for festivals, city events and fairs, Zibo’s food truck is ready to gratify your palates with its gourmet cuisine. If you try to get some informations, exchanging a few words with the cooks, you will discover that behind the name Zibo hides the great passion of a team of young chefs with many experiences on the field.
Book a table in their delicious restaurant in Via Caminadella, or as they call it the”Headquarters”, which is located in the historic center, not far from the nightlife of Porta Ticinese. The restaurant inside is refined, intimate with a décor without frills able to immediately put at ease customers, perfect either for quiet evenings spent with friends or for a romantic dinner for two. You will find a very attentive service and a wine list of great charm.
At the restaurant you can try the various specialties of ravioli including the Japanese seafood gyoza: ravioli cooked first with steam and then grilled, filled with red prawns of Sicily, squid, mussels and clams that combine oriental inspiration with traditional Italian flavors. You’ll want to try them again and again.
