Walking in Via Broletto, in the shadow of the palaces of the historic center of Milan, you will come across a small and pretty pink bar: Baunilla Comfort Sweets, born from the passion of pastry and love for design.
The pastry chef, Barbara, owner of the bakery, has decided to tell her own Brazilian origins adding a touch of Made in Italy with ingredients, flavors and smells mixed and served as small works of art. Papaya is the undisputed queen of products, to which creams, fruit, jellies and fresh mousses are combined, sources of joy for every palate.
But what best characterizes the pastry and its offer is certainly the possibility to choose between different formats of desserts in addition to the classic, to best meet the needs of its greedy customers; the individual miniature pastries are displayed in order of taste and ingredients and can be packaged in elegant personalized cadeaux boxes. There are also the single portions, small productions of the laboratory that recall the ingredients and the recipes of the cakes, but in smaller size to satisfy a daily whim.
Every day Baunilla – from the Portuguese vanilla – churns out its specialties in the small workshop, to satisfy the desire for a fresh, genuine and good dessert, both for the choice of the most sought-after raw materials, and for the desire to offer a unique and attentive to customers’ tastes and personalities, without forgetting its Brazilian-Italian heart.
A note of merit is certainly the design – curated by architect Giovanni Mosca – characterized by colorful furnishings and boho details that play on the rose palette and on bright shades, recreating a lively yet relaxing atmosphere.
A small corner of pastry to eat not only with your eyes, where colors, sweetness and atmosphere will be the protagonists of your coffee break.
