Vesta
Raw seafood, cocktails and design: the sea reimagined the Milanese way in Via Fiori Chiari

At Via Fiori Chiari 1A, in the heart of Milan’s Brera neighbourhood, Vesta pairs refined seafood with the energy of an all-day lounge bar, taking guests seamlessly from lunch to after-dinner drinks with a Milanese take on the sea.
The venture is run by gruppo Triple Sea Food, headed by Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio, whose vision is to shape Brera into a gourmet quarter through distinctive concepts centred on seafood, design and mixology. The name nods to the Roman temple dedicated to the goddess Vesta, later replaced nearby by the church of San Carpoforo. The reference is intentional, symbolising protection, warmth and the centrality of the culinary hearth.

The interior, designed by Stefano Belingardi Clusoni, plays on fluid indoor-outdoor spaces: an entrance staircase leads up to the terrace, before opening into the dining room with its bar counter and private dining room, down to the subterranean ‘Sottomarino’, which transforms into a lounge with DJ sets at weekends. The colour palette is warm and inviting, pairing polished ebony panelling, brass counters and deep-toned seating for an elegant yet relaxed feel.

In the kitchen, head chef Giorgio Bresciani, formerly sous chef at Michelin-starred destinations including IYO, crafts a Mediterranean menu centred on the sea, balancing clean flavours with precision technique. The core of the menu is crudo: oysters, tartares, carpaccios and seafood platters alongside delicately composed cooked dishes. Standouts include the Catalana di Vesta, prawn, scampi and squid tempura with citrus mayonnaise, Fær Øer salmon crostini with cream cheese and caviar, and a trio of 28 Pastai spaghetti with clams and Greek bottarga.

The atmosphere is elegant without being formal, appealing to guests looking for effortless style and unpretentious comfort. Thanks to its versatile spaces, Vesta moves easily between occasions, from daytime lunches to late-night drinks, delivering a sophisticated seafood dining experience right in step with Milan’s urban pulse.
