Venetia Studium – Atelier Fortuny
The perfect blend of design and Venetian charm

In the heart of Venice, distinctive workshops celebrate the city’s past through craftsmanship, focusing on fine materials and artisanal skill to offer a refined form of luxury. Venetia Studium – Atelier Fortuny is one such place: a boutique bringing two brands together for a rounded design experience where fashion and interior decor meet in an elegant setting.

At San Marco 2428, Venetia Studium – Atelier Fortuny is filled with the charm of colourful fabrics used for fine garments and home decor—veritable works of art for your home. The brand’s history began with Mariano Fortuny, a master of stage lighting who moved to Venice, turned his focus to printed textiles, and soon became famous for his silk lamps. Following Fortuny’s death, Lino Lando took the reins. Passionate about Fortuny’s work, he later founded his own label, Venetia Studium, producing interior furnishings including cushions and tapestries.

Standout pieces include the iconic Studio 1907 collection: world-renowned lamps with an industrial aesthetic, ideal for modern interiors. Fortuny’s Eastern influences are evident in the striking silk lamps, which evoke Japan through both their intricate textiles and their shapes, inspired by ancient votive lanterns and pagodas. The Venetia Studium line takes deep inspiration from Fortuny’s creations, clearly visible in the fabrics chosen for its signature cushions, where arabesque patterns and floral motifs intertwine to lend character and style to your home.

Venetia Studium – Atelier Fortuny seamlessly unites two related yet distinct brands, creating a distinctive style grounded in elegance and good taste. Stepping inside feels more like entering a curated museum than a conventional shop, guided by the beauty of timeless fabrics: a Venice destination where design, craftsmanship and style meet.
