You have probably already heard of Gesto, but perhaps not in its current guise. Founded in 2016 as a cocktail and tapas bar, the venue underwent a radical transformation in 2024, reinventing itself as a refined listening bar, a space where music takes centre stage and the sensory experience reaches new heights.

At the heart of this project sits the ‘Malinconia’ room. Here, every detail is designed for pure, immersive listening: the handcrafted hi-fi system by Futura Research delivers crisp, warm, enveloping sound, while the music is played strictly on vinyl, with meticulous attention to quality and curation. The weekly line-up offers constant discovery: DJ sets, jam sessions and international collaborations turn every evening into a distinctive event, appealing to newcomers and demanding audiophiles alike. Curated by world-renowned professionals, the music programme combines artistic sensitivity and technical expertise to create an intimate, elegant and never predictable atmosphere.

Another new feature is the private room ‘Almost Famous’, accommodating around 20 guests. Originally a karaoke room, it is now an intimate, welcoming space, ideal for business meetings as well as private dinners and events. With soft lighting and a convivial atmosphere, it offers an exclusive, tailored experience, with music and ambience to enjoy in complete privacy.

The food at Gesto is fresh, creative and fun: inspired by classic Italian cooking, each dish features an original twist, served alongside sharing plates and signature cocktails, designed to complement the music selection. The wine list offers 150 Italian and international labels, curated for everything from an informal toast to a gourmet dinner. It is a venue where the simple gesture (gesto in Italian) of listening, sipping or savouring becomes a sensory ritual.
