The story of this family-run address began in 1968, when Crescenzo, a father of ten, opened the Capri restaurant on Via Speranzella and ran it until 1990. In 2010 Rosario, one of Crescenzo’s sons, decided to revive his father’s business, creating Antica Capri. In the dining room, lovers of Neapolitan food are welcomed by an unpretentious, cheerful atmosphere and the warm hospitality typical of the city’s most authentic trattorias.

The menu offers seafood specialities and Neapolitan pizzas prepared according to traditional recipes. Pasta highlights include pasta e fagioli alla pescatora, served in an earthenware dish sealed with pizza crust and finished in the wood-fired oven, alongside la genovese, paccheri al “cuoccio” and linguine all’astice. For mains, do not miss the insalata di polpo, polipetti “alla luciana”, fried anchovies and other freshly prepared seafood dishes. Round off the meal with a chilled limoncello!
