A rainy afternoon and a walk in Via Moscova. A great shop window captures our gaze: ladies, gentlemen and young people of all ages learn to work the dough with large wooden rolling pins under the watchful, slightly amused eye of the masters of fresh pasta. This is how we discovered Via Emilia – Bottega Gastronomica, a small pearl of regional cuisine between Brera and Moscova.

Via Emilia is a multifaceted place, a local developed in a large room with original tiled floor that turns from simple and appetizing deli to the perfect destination for a delicious meal or aperitif, up to a cooking school with a wide range of courses dedicated to traditional dishes of the Emilian culinary history.

As you enter, the most striking feature are the walls, covered with wooden shelves that host many of the regional specialties, to be enjoyed first of all with your eyes; on the left side jars with compotes, jams, pickled foods, but also creams, sauces and toppings for all palates.
