In the historic setting of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, a stone’s throw from the Duomo, since 1915 Camparino in Galleria has been witness to historical periods and social phenomena, curious visitors and Milanese regulars, raising spirits and celebrating moments of lightheartedness thanks to the famous formula of its iconic aperitivo. Wanting to offer a space of divertissement to the elegant city of Milan, Davide Campari reopened the doors of this legendary restaurant in the historic center after an ad hoc restyling, in the name of captivating rooms, culinary feats, confectionery production and a surprising food and wine options, among Signature cocktails and unusual combinations.

A project that, starting from the Art Deco elements from which the secular history of this Milanese locale was born, wanted to play on the conviviality of the spaces, dedicated to the moments that mark the hectic city days. From the Sala Spiritello, which overlooks the Gallery, for a panoramic gourmet experience among beautiful decor, you can reach the historic Bar di Passo on the ground floor for an all day long break. The new Gaspare Campari room, once a space dedicated to warehouses, will host bartending courses, tastings and private events for an immersive experience in authentic Milan “to drink” and “to eat.”

A wave of change has also reached the heart of the kitchen, which has made the combination of cocktail & food the key to its innovative project. The traditional cocktails, prepared by the skilled minds of Camparino’s Mixology Art in the Gallery, will be combined with delicious ad hoc tastings, including the brand new Pan’cot, created in collaboration with the famous Chef Davide Oldani; a special roasted bread made with wholemeal flours to be savored slowly with meats, fish and vegetables, between a sip of Campari-Seltz or Negroni, in the shadow of the Madonnina.

Camparino in Galleria remains the glamorous and sophisticated Milanese destination par excellence that reflects the timeless elegance of a dichotomous city, a lover of centuries-old tradition on the one hand, but eager for innovation on the other. Let yourself be guided by the charm of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and delve into this historic location perfect for a drink in Milan and beyond, where, between centuries-old architecture and design elements, you can relive the glories and the vicissitudes of the iconic Milan experience by turning the eye to the future, between a slow breakfast, a cult aperitif and a gourmet experience for true connoisseurs.
