Fondaco di Pasqua 2017

Easter is just around the corner and with it comes this year’s instalment of the Fondaco by the Associazione Amici della Fondazione ONLUS.

The goal of this beloved city event (which occurs at Christmas and at Easter) is to raise funds to expand the home care network of this foundation, and to support the incurably ill, by providing funding for hospices and the training of doctors and staff.

The heroes of this year’s Fondaco will be selling artisanal Colomba di Pasqua of the same quality of the panettone they sell at Christmas year after year. There’s not only food on offer but also objects for the home, furniture, clothing antiques and so forth.

Thanks to the help of numerous volunteers and loyal customers, this event always manages to turn Christmas and Easter shopping into a really special and heartwarming occasion.
