The Love Affair

It’s been four years, now, that Cristina di Giovanna’s and Sofia Barozzi’s concept, The Love Affair, brings closer young couples that are planning their wedding and field specialists through an event that isn’t just a trade fair but an actual celebration of all the beautiful details that concern that fateful “yes”. Any particular signs? They sure aren’t missing: what the two founders want to promote, are original and unconventional ideas to give a special touch to your special day.

The event will happen during two days, the 4th and 5th November, in the wonderful location of Officina del Volo, an old industrial space characterized by sophisticated interior designs and full of New-York vibes. Articulated in four ambients (an external space, one hall on the ground floor and other two on the first floor) this building will be the perfect setting for The Love Affair’s programmed events and meetings that, judging from last editions’ success, will be very crowded.

During these two days, the expositions will last the whole day, from ten o’ clock in the morning to half past eight in the evening. There are gonna be show-cooking moments, a flower market and food trucks for you to try. All kinds of wedding professionals will be there: from planners to flower, cake and graphic designers; from shops of groom’s clothes and bride’s dresses to jewelers for the wedding rings; and at last food experts, travel agencies to plan honeymoons, photographers and videomakers.

But what are the ideas that give life to this initiative? First of all, the most important thing is the choice of the professionals; they need to be creative, put the quality of their work ahead of everything else and being capable of understanding in the best way the ideas of the couple. It is the bride’s and groom’s personality to be relevant here, which is entrusted to these specialists in order to interpret their inputs in light of their long and solid experience.

The Love Affair is an initiative born in the name of beauty and good taste. Cristiana and Sofia, along with all the other experts and suppliers that will take part in the event, are not bosses of the wedding but artists of it, with years of career under their belt.
