Florence Factory
A temple of Made in Italy, craftsmanship and scouting
In the very centre of Florence, on Via de’ Neri close to Santa Croce, you will find the beautiful concept store Florence Factory. The shop brings together emerging designers and contemporary artisans alongside pieces from historic workshops: the result is a collection of top-quality objects, the best of Made in Italy and independent craftsmanship.
In a carefully designed, tastefully fitted-out space you will find clothing collections made exclusively for Florence Factory, such as pieces by Bastah and The Florence Club, limited-edition jewellery and even one-off pieces, as well as beautiful hats by Memar and Reinhard Plank and bags by Majo and Damai. The style is modern, yet it carries centuries of craftsmanship and quality from the world-famous Florentine district.

Over the past year the Florentine concept store has worked a great deal on contemporary jewellery and, while still focused on Tuscan production, it has one of the most original and complete collections in Florence, so much so that Florence Factory is seen as a real launch pad, sought after by many jewellery designers and artists.
Alongside the concept store and its scouting, Florence Factory runs a series of projects to promote craftsmanship through hands-on, sensory experiences: for example, workshops organised with Manifattura Tabacchi to teach participants the techniques of ceramicists and leatherworkers, or Meet The Artist presentations in the shop to meet the designers. Shopping comes with the pleasant scents of Teatro Fragranze and total-look styling: it is lovely to try on a dress and see it already paired with a wide-brimmed hat and a piece of jewellery by Margherita De Martino.

Today Florence Factory is a fluid, lively business, thanks to its scouting and its constant search for new designers and artists. The owners and the team who work with them show all their passion and enthusiasm for what they do, which is only partly about selling products. It is something Florence was missing, and it will soon sell its products online too.
It is no coincidence, then, that the Florentine concept store has been mentioned in Forbes and is approached by leading stylists and bloggers: our advice is to visit and see, in a single space, some of the most beautiful and original products Tuscany has to offer the world.
