PanicAle – Emporio Conviviale (ex Lo Sverso)

Small temple of craft beer

Under the columns of San Lorenzo in the shadow of the Central Market you will find PanicAle – Emporio Conviviale (old Lo Sverso) , a small den in which to take refuge to enjoy excellent home-made craft beer, original cocktails of a thousand flavors and tasty delicacies for all.

Unusual and easy-going, with a decidedly hipster feel this bar goes far beyond what it promises. A location condensed in two small rooms furnished with the refined taste of those who look to certain places in northern Europe. Soft hanging lights, lacquered tables, chairs in iron and wood as well as the shelves climbed on the walls of an intense blue night. We can be in Hamburg or in Paris and the atmosphere is to be experienced both inside and under the arcade through wrought-iron tables or on the cushions positioned in the adjacent tiers.

While on the one hand the atmosphere certainly plays its part on the other we find substance proposals that give depth to this place and make it an ideal destination for an aperitif with friends, a light dinner and a pleasant evening. One of the major strengths is certainly the wide offer of craft beers on tap and in bottles. Try the labels of the house. On rotation you will find the best of Italian and non-Italian craft breweries and you will be able to savor niche beers that the PanicAle managers are always ready to tell and advise you about. If the fermented hop is not for you, you can choose from a selection of respectable cocktails. Let yourself be guided into the drink list that ranges from classics to signature seasonal cocktails made with syrups and homemade bitters.

If instead you want something to put under your teeth you will certainly find the right thing for your type of appetite. From the hummus with schiacciata to sandwiches of various kinds passing through bagels, pretzels and cutting boards of all sorts to the beautiful and delicious salads that make up part of the vegan proposal.

If you don’t know where to go this evening and you are a little tired of the usual proposals, then try absolutely to make a jump from Lo Sverso for a great quality evening!

We can't. That's why every week we share the best experiences florence has to offer.

The premises that house Baobar have lived many lives, and each of them has left its mark. The large vintage chandeliers, reminiscent of when there was a flower shop here, coexist with the imprint left by the days when Baobar was a disco-bar, with the typical design of ‘Milano da bere’, an atmospheric second floor [...]

But don't be fooled, because here salmon [...]

Moebius

Via Alfredo Cappellini, 25 20124 Milano

A Milanese address named after a French cartoonist - Jean Giraud. Here, however, it's not drawings we're talking about, but rather ideas and dishes, those of the two starred chef Enrico Croatti. Moebius is a fertile "ground" in which undisturbed design, cuisine and music thrive, circumscribed at number 25 of Via Alfredo Cappellini, between the [...]
