Marotin

Just a few steps from Piazza Risorgimento, in a splendid corner position and with large windows showing the mezzanine, Marotin is a small box of goodness, a triumph of butter, sugar and colors. Although it has become increasingly popular among breakfast fanatics with a sweet tooth, Marotin preserves a refined atmosphere, with French shades and some vintage touches.

When you enter Marotin you inhale so many scents and aromas at once that you don’t immediately know where to concentrate your attention. Every single product is presented with great care: large cans on the shelves filled with biscuits and gift boxes along with a rich showcase make the environment even more welcoming and give us the feeling that every gesture here is extremely sweet and slow. An array of desserts, pies, tarts, brioches, pastries, biscuits, creams, decorations, able to satisfy all tastes and desires!

Each level of the showcase has a different cake: even if the choice is not huge, cakes and pastries have a very delicious appearance. Besides that there’s a customized cake service: even the most demanding customers will be satisfied. The coffee here is absolutely on point: their cappuccinos is a must, one of the best of the town.

Marotin is absolutely one of those places we like to define as “our little spots”, which we are always looking for in Milan. You come here willingly for yourself, for a nice coffee to accompany your reading, or with friends for some chit-chat and gossip.
