In a 17th century residence, completely redesigned by the famous Building Group, we find Lagrange12, the Turin multibrand of excellence that collects the best brands of Italian and international haute couture on its 1200 square meters of surface. A unique space in equilibrium between design, art and architecture that has made use of the interventions of DIMORESTUDIO, a company famous for its great collaborations with the most important fashion houses.
Via Lagrange has now become one of the pinnacles of Turin shopping excellence, with exclusive brands in an increasingly elegant and classy atmosphere. All this thanks to the excellence that represents Lagrange 12, from 2016 an exclusive reference point for all lovers of fashion and design. Because the names behind the restoration are really important: on the one hand we find the Building group, the same as The Number 6, also in Turin, winner of the Building of the year award ArchDaily, who oversaw the transformation of the building; while on the other side DIMORESTUDIO has designed three rooms on the ground floor and the entire first floor of the store, giving it an unmistakable artistic and excellent mark.
The 50s heritage furnishings, in an atmosphere between luxury and Art Deco, are placed next to other new ones, designed especially for the Turin area. For example, the modular structures that serve as black painted iron hangings with polished steel escapes, inspired by the great environmental sculptures of the American artist Oscar Tuazon and the monumental symbolic “spiders” of the artist Louise Bourgeois. Among the heritage objects instead we find names like those of Magistretti, BBPR, and Stilnuovo next to iconic pieces of design such as the Giò Ponti armchairs or Le Corbusier chaise longue.
If the architectural concept expresses originality and uniqueness, the same applies to the garments and brands that you will find in Lagrange 12. The ground floor is entirely dedicated to bags, shoes and accessories and looks like a large mosaic: 4 rooms dedicated to Valentino, Saint Laurent, Céline and Christian Dior and as many rooms characterized by the “soft corners” of Balenciaga, Chloé, Givenchy, Bottega Veneta, Fendi, Loewe, Stella McCartney, Burberry and Salvatore Ferragamo.
On the other hand, the first floor focuses on the traditional multi-brand exhibition with two men’s and women’s departments that can count on the likes of Thom Browne, Moncler Gamme Rouge and Gamme Bleu, Mark Cross, Neil Barrett, Dolce & Gabbana and Dior Homme. Clothing items of the brands are also proposed on the ground floor. The identity of the concept store and the selection of the products inside look to the contemporary world and streetwear, without ever forgetting a strong luxury connotation.
Lagrange12 offers unique accessories and clothing: you will find the most exclusive products from the catwalks of Milan and Paris, combined and mixed together to create stunning looks, thanks to the wise choices of the staff, very good, among other things in creating an immersive and personalized shopping experience.
