Melrose Vintage

For a walk arm in arm with the ages

If one day you wake up tired of refreshing your wardrobes with stylish clothes, a story yet to be written as feel nostalgic for a moment of temps jadis and eager to wear a particular garment, Melrose Vintage it is the place that in Florence is able to accommodate all these needs. In the stores of Via Largo Alinari 8 and Via De ‘Ginori 18r thousands of different stories are intertwined through clothing for men, women and accessories.

Also known by English and French speakers, Melrose has been a beacon for the vintage world of the city in the shadow of the Brunelleschi dome since 1988. According to a selection of particular garments with an excellent value for money, this store successfully pursues its objectives: on the one hand, bringing all the clothes that have punctuated the history of style up to the present day, and seconding the different style of each person.

In a Wild West routes style frame, you will find an impressive selection of clothing and accessories: from the most classic Barbour coats, Wrangler or Levis jeans, to the most eccentric sweaters (Missoni and Pierre Cardin to name a few), shirts and nylon jackets. Often, however, it can happen to be fascinated and at the same time frightened by these large basins in which you can really find clothes for all tastes and at the same time for nobody; however Melrose differs from many other vintage shops for this reason. Without leaving its customers confused, the shop assistants, with their exceptional cordiality, will guide you with dexterity through the meanders of different eras.

If you want to look around, still undecided about what to do, you can peek at their Instagram and Facebook profiles that will give you an overview of the most flamboyant proposals and the latest “goodies”. You will only have to decide at what time you will want to feel part of it for a moment, and then dive into the thick shelves of Melrose who will be able to provide you with the trendiest starter-pack from the 60s to today.

We can't. That's why every week we share the best experiences florence has to offer.
