With its particular, almost buttery texture, its flavor, and its unlimited versatility in the kitchen, the avocado is unmistakably beautiful. Its’ shape, shine, and green and yellow colors make it the perfect protagonist for every creative dish. But there is substance intertwined with beauty, which is the avocado’s winning combination. The avocado is rich in good fats, antioxidants, and vitamin E, acting like an elixir of life to revitalize our bodies. In short, this superfood (in every sense of the word) has found its home at Corso XXII Marzo, a stone’s throw from Piazza V Giornate, thanks to the Avo Brothers team.

The restaurant is small yet well-organized. Here, you will find a large central table surrounded by more secluded tables, a relaxing environment, and a pleasantly bright green color that dominates the room. The design is minimal, characterized by clean lines and a fun wallpaper dotted with small avocados complete with sunglasses scattered about the place. The resulting space is an intimate and tropical one.

Let’s move on to the menu, shall we? Among the offerings, your attention will be immediately captured by the wide selection of bowls. Why not start with the Lolita, made of quinoa, halloumi (a local Cyprus cheese), avocado, sweet potatoes, and beetroot hummus? Or maybe the Soho Bowl, a triumph of nourishing ingredients, prepared with fresh salmon, rice, avocado,and other healthy delicacies, and the Botanical Bowl, a vegetable feast fit for a vegan. We highly recommend the floral pasta, a plate of fusilli with avocado pesto and the option of added burrata (upon request). However, do not miss the innovative Avo Pizza, a slice of sourdough bread stuffed with avocado, cherry tomatoes, burrata, and a reduction of balsamic vinegar and honey.

On the menu, there are more street food options, such as the burger, sporting both a vegan option and the classic beef with tomatoes, lettuce, and cheddar, as well as the must-have avocado toast. For this dish, you can choose between a naturally leavened or sweet potato-based dough and build it however you want. In addition to the avocado, of course, you can top your toast with halloumi, feta, smoked salmon, beetroot hummus, or eggs. And speaking of eggs, another food chock full of energy, you have the opportunity to choose between different cooking methods for your eggs (scrambled, omelet, or poached). Among these choices, note the Florry Eggs, a delicious dish with eggs prepared to perfection, naturally leavened bread, and smoked salmon, doused with an “avodaise” avocado mayonnaise.

From Wednesday to Sunday, the Avo Brothers add 3 unique dishes to the menu for their dinner service. If you want to try the cajun chicken, marinated salmon with avocado and grilled corn, or the chimichurri beef with avocado, you know when to stop by.

Aperitif lovers can indulge in tacos, olives, and corn chips with guacamole and beetroot hummus while sipping quality cocktails. In the “To Share” section of the menu, where the Avo Brothers fully respect and adhere to the sharing is caring philosophy, you can find stuffed avocados with beetroot hummus or the “sweet fries” with paprika and aioli. Also, consider their a la carte brunch menu for a lazy Sunday!

Make sure to leave room for dessert! The Acai bowl, with acai berry, almond milk, and bananas, as well as the Glow bowl with an avocado base, banana, coconut milk, and fresh fruit, are temptations you’ll surrender willingly to.
