Live wine – an international exhibition for artisanal wines – returns for its third year in Milan. Over two days, 150 small producers (true wine artisans) will meet with professional sommeliers, wine lovers and even just the curious.
This is by far and away Milan’s most important wine event for craft to medium sized businesses. Italian, Slovenian, Greek and Spanish producers will be present. Several territories and different varietals will be represented, wines of all different styles with only common factor being that they are made by producers committed to sustainable agricultural practices.
Low sulfur content, no use of artificial yeasts or additives are what makes these “live wines” unique.
The program includes several guided tastings led by Samuel Cogliati, a journalist, editor and consultant to the wine world, and well-known amongst wine experts. The tastings last about 90 minutes and are not included in the cost of the ticket.
On Friday February 17, there will be an opening party hosted by Santeria Social Club in Viale Toscana. There will also be other events running from Friday to Saturday organized by the producers themselves.
Tickets for Live Wine 2017 are €20 which includes a tasting glass, a catalog of exhibitors and the right to taste all the wines on display. We’ll be seeing you there!
