Maschio Gioielli

Handmade creations with a linear style that enhances simplicity

I still remember the day when I came across what would later become a great love. It was a Saturday in early autumn, one of those in which the sun beams brightly, but the air is crisp. Walking through the fashion district, the quadrilatero, I could not avoid stopping in front of a small window that displayed pieces of jewelry of refined taste and discrete elegance. I entered Maschio Gioielli for the first time. I have been back many times since.

The store is a gem set in via San Pietro all’Orto, in the heart of Milan: a small shop by the linear but chic style, the same of the creations that can be admired inside, laid out on tables and coffee tables that fill the room. Take your time to observe them carefully, check them out and ask for advice. If like me you love simplicity and linear shapes, you won’t leave disappointed. And don’t forget that some of their jewelry can be customized, to become even more unique and your own.

Maschio Gioielli - Milano

It’s beyond doubt that I have fallen in love with their jewelry. I wear Maschio pieces every day, and pieces of have traveled with me around the world. The reason why I love them so much is obvious: they are that kind of pieces that are subtle and adaptable to the life of a modern woman. Predominantly made in 9k gold but also in silver, using natural and synthetic stones, the pieces are simple, sometimes very simple, but no less valuable!

Personally, I find that in their simplicity, these pieces express the true essence of jewelry: knowing how to accentuate a hand or neck and resisting the tendency to hide these features with accessories that might look too showy. Their creations are special for another reason: they are all handcrafted, made in Milan, where they are designed, created and sold. This is why you will never find two of the same pieces. Sure, they may look alike, but just like people, each of these pieces has some special feature, that makes it different from the others and therefore unique.

If you want to treat yourself a gift, to relish in the uniqueness and simplicity of this jewelry, or to have a lasting memento of Milan, I recommend that you pay a visit at Maschio. And if you’re reading this article but you are not in Milan, do not despair, you can admire and buy their creations on their website and own your own piece of true creativity and Milanese craftsmanship.
