Musy gioielleria

Perfect for everyday kings and queens

Exactly at street number 1 of Via Po, the main axis of the historic center of Turin, there is a corner of pure sabaudity in which time seems to have stopped at the time of Queen Margherita. We are talking about Musy, the excellent Turin jewelers. And I say excellent because the story of this name and its tradition speaks for itself.

This is the oldest jeweler in Italy, from a family that has been the official supplier of the Royal House of Savoy since 1707. We are faced with a true heirloom of elegance, refinement and sobriety in full Savoy character. All this you could have already guessed by looking at the entrance. A devanture of 1865, today perfectly preserved, in black wood with golden profiles, dominates the porticoes that host it. On the high side the name of the jewelers stands out, flanked by two coats of arms of the royal house inlaid in the wood, as if to say “here you will be treated like kings and queens”.

Do not be afraid if you feel intimidated by so much magnificence. Musy today is the jewelry store for those who face everyday life but do not want to give up a touch of royal elegance. Laura Gazza and Mario Bellitti, owners since 2011, enhance the history and tradition of this place by combining it with modern trends and tastes.

They showcase names such as Crivelli, Mimì, Buccellati, Yvone Christa and the rare Mikimoto pearls. All jewels can be customized or adapted in the artisan workshop, giving life to a project from two centuries ago. This is the Nodo, a project rediscovered by Laura Gazza, in the historical archive of the Musy family whose lines have been reinterpreted, with contemporary taste, preserving the original soul of the design. The result is a ring composed of a single thin line that wraps the finger with refined simplicity, in silver and gold (pink and yellow), which can be embellished with diamonds, rubies and sapphires, each of different shades. On the same concept there is also an entire wearable parure in the simplicity of everyday life, but also in the elegance of great occasions.

If you really want to feel like kings and queens, then let yourself be lulled by the charm of a place that tells of a wearable story on a daily basis. If you can not visit the store, you can appreciate or buy these Savoy preciousness also on the website.

We can't. That's why every week we share the best experiences milan has to offer.
