But now there is a delicious and easy way to reconcile the dreaded word “diet” with the concept of a healthy detox. We are so happy to introduce Flawless Milano readers to a place where you can enjoy a refreshing and healthy break with the delicacy, macha: Macha Café.

For the uninitiated, macha is a special Japanese green tea with many beneficial properties for the body. Macha Café is the first restaurant in Milan that has devised an innovative and healthy menu around this ingredient.

This restaurant, located in Viale Francesco Crispi 15 (only a few steps from Corso Garibaldi), is dedicated to wellness, and is becoming one of the reference points in Milan for those seeking a snack just a little bit more exciting than the usual offerings.

Macha Café is a very special place indeed. A range of different flavors are mixed together – both Asian and Western. There are reinterpretations of famous dishes (sushi, avocado toast, detox smoothies, yogurt, pastries and cocktails) made with this fascinating ingredient.

I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a post shopping break, curious about the buzz surrounding this bistro. A real stand out on this menu was the macha tiramisù.

But in addition to being a perfect place for a healthy snack break, you can also enjoy breakfast and dinner here. For Happy Hour it’s always worth trying the macha mojito!
