At number six on Via San Tomaso, on the first floor of a building the heart of Milan you can find ‘CASA LAGO‘, the new showroom-salon of LAGO.
“Casa” is the appropriate word here of this second opening in Milan for LAGO, after the successful Appartamento LAGO in Via Brera that opened in 2010. High ceilings finished in wood and large windows overlooking a courtyard, intersecting spaces all decorated with furniture from LAGO, the Veneto-based company that since 2006 has grown tirelessly in the Italian design market.
Synonymous with craftsmanship, quality and attention to the physical and social needs of man LAGO offers design objects with modularity in mind, with fun concepts that combine solid materials like wood with glass to create a visual effect of suspension.
CASA LAGO offers four hundred square meters of multifunctional, flexible space, suitable for different needs from conference rooms to workspaces, in a homely atmosphere – a completely different experience from the cold, distant feel of the hotel conference room. It also offers a dining room perfect for culinary events and cooking demonstrations, a kitchen, a library, a meeting room and a coworking space, plus a large living room, and a mini apartment with all the amenities you could ask for. Each space has been designed to be able to coexist with the others, but at the same time affords maximum privacy to users.
The showroom is not conceived as a mere exhibition space but lends itself to customers who can then use the spaces in a number of aspects, renting part of it, or all of it for private events. The basic concept is one of ‘empathy‘, the cornerstone of the brand’s design philosophy is that “you must design the interior according to the place”, according to administrator and head of design, Daniele Lago. CASA LAGO offers its guests the feeling of being at home.
