Antica Osteria la Rampina never fails to amaze.
One of the most charming and picturesque restaurants near Milan offers a dinner “by four hands” with Giuseppe Tentori, executive chef and partner of Boka Restaurant (which earned him his first Michelin star) and GT Fish & Oyster Chicago.
In fact it was at Antica Osteria where Tentori undertook his first cooking experience, and received guidance from his first mentor, Lino Gagliardi, which then led to him moving overseas. On December 2, the young and enterprising Luca Gagliardi and Tentori serve a menu that blends innovation with tradition – a combination that is essential to Gagliardi’s culinary philosophy.
Local and seasonal products are also a must in the two chef’s philosophies, and the menu promises to provide interesting combinations, authentic flavors and special creations in honor of culinary maestro, Gualtiero Marchesi who will be in attendance.
Special attention has also been paid to the wine pairings, which have been selected from a prestigious and varied cellar.
But the surprises do not end there. Special guests for the evening include Roberta Schira, food journalist for Corriere della Sera, who will be presenting her new book “La Gioa del Riordino in Cucina” (The Joy of Reorganizing Your Kitchen). The book sets out how to find peace of mind and improve your relationship through food, starting with the precise organization of your kitchen. A copy of the book will be given to all guests.
So many flavors await you at Antica Osteria La Rampina San Giuliano, at a venue already decorated in the Christmas spirit. Tickets for the dinner are €70 per person.
