Next weekend in Milan, a workshop will be held just for people like us, the neurotic cohabitants of this never stopping city. The topic is “Yoga and psychology for wellbeing“. The workshop will take place on Saturday 21th and Sunday 22nd of May at Sampoorna Yoga Atelier.
Marco Sassoon, psychologist and sports therapist, will lead the lessons tackling the following topics: fear, anxiety and stress management, the importance of connections, and building independence.
You wake up at 7am, shower, have a quick coffee with two biscuits (low-calorie, of course) on the spot or in the tram, and get on with another day of work, work, work. Yes, in Milan your routine won’t let you get outside the rules. It’s normal, especially at this time of year, to experience a second wave of all that tiredness from the winter.
Don’t panic, we’re trying to work out how to face these next three months. They’re the last hurdle before the summer holidays that we’re longing for, when we’ll have mental and physical balance.
Each session with the young psychologist will be accompanied by a practical yoga demonstration led by the yoga school. The two disciplines are actually extremely complementary, both aiming to help people feel well within themselves and to be in physical and mental balance.
Whether you’re a yoga teacher, a yoga practitioner, a psychologist, a company, or an individual, don’t miss this opportunity to improve the wellbeing of your community and your life. You still have time until Thursday 19th to sign up. For €50 per person you can immerse yourself in a weekend of learning how to be healthy… bringing certain happiness to people in your life!
