Milan Design Week 2018 has officially begun. With the full energy of the first day we offer you the best opening events and cocktail parties for the perfect inauguration of this 2018 edition.

OPENING MASIERO

In via della Moscova 25, in a print shop reminiscent of the old Milan, Masiero from 6 pm to 11 pm presents a special installation with the novelties of its catalogue and the iconic products of the brand specializing in high-end decorative lighting.

OPENING PARTY HEMMA-STORIES OF HOMES

Hemma means “at home” and is the project that Swedish Design Moves will bring to Milan Design Week in via Eugenio Balzan 4, from 6 pm to 10 pm, in a location in the heart of Brera. A selection of Swedish companies and designers who look to the future trying to improve the quality of life thanks to a functional and aesthetic approach to space and furnishings.

THE ENCHANTED FOREST BY KENGO KUMA 

From 7 pm to 9 pm there will be a cocktail party in the Valextra boutique in via Alessandro Manzoni 3, where the Japanese architect Kengo Kuma has created an exhibition that brings nature to Milan, abstractly referring to a forest to escape from the urban reality.

SEVENTIES PRIVÈ BY SAG’80

A cocktail party to celebrate one of the golden moments of Italian design: the 70s. The staging of the showroom in via Boccaccio, 4 will recreate the atmosphere of those years with bright colors, carpets and extravagant shapes for an evening full of music by Bee Gees and Donna Summer. From 6:30 pm, upon registration, you will be able to immerse yourself in a decade of colors, creativity and contradictions between cocktails, design and vinyl.

DESIGN WEEK OPENING PARTY BY REDBULL 

Like every year, from 7:30 pm the cocktail party inauguration sponsored by Redbull returns to the Circle, in via Enrico Stendhal 36, in the Tortona area. To participate to the aperitif and the the party it is necessary to register yourself here.
